Friday's lesson and homework

Many of you have set up your blog and emailed me the URL.If you haven't done this, try to do it over the weekend. If you still have a problem, please see IT as soon as possible to sort it out. Don't forget to bring your card so that you can borrow on Tuesday or bring along the book you are reading. On your blog (before Tuesday), make a recommendation for a book that you think others in the class might like to read. It should contain a female character in a fairly major role and be one that could be read in three to four weeks. For homework for Tuesday, finish the dot point answers to the questions on BB in the document “Questions to consider when analysing the representation of women in the media.” (These were to be answered about a female character of your choice from a book, TV show or movie.)Follow the trail from "From fairy princesses ..." into "Representations of women in poular culture" to "How to analyse representations in the media" to find the document.
